job summary:

As a Product Owner supporting the Market Risk Technology team, responsibilities include:

Defining the vision and roadmap for the product, defining and prioritizing stories in the product backlog, and articulating this to both stakeholders and the development team.

Collaborate with business & risk managers, to define the business requirement & translate them for developers into detailed technical specifications for various workstreams across Regulatory and other Global Markets programs

Support end-to-end IT change initiative, implement the changes to various risk processes, systems & metrics like generating VaR, Stressed Var , Risk sensitivities etc

Assist with the analysis & testing of implementations

Ensure project governance & control processes around project delivery

Leverage strong foundation of market risk domain to manage delivery of market risk infra changes

qualifications:

Required Qualifications

Knowledge of both business and technology domain related to Market Risk.

Strong understanding of market risk metrics and familiarity with regulatory frameworks like Basel III or FRTB

Prior experience working on significant technical delivery within Global Markets Technology or Risk Technology at a large financial services company.

Ability to communicate effectively with technical, business and quantitative model partners and stakeholders.

Experience in synthesizing complex data into actionable analysis and presentations to non technical partners.

Hands-on with Excel & SQL

Prior experience of agile and JIRA.

Strong critical thinking and decision making skills

Desired Qualifications

Experience working with Python / Quartz is desirable.
