Functional Platform Advisor Manhattan Active OMS & WMS
Role Overview
We are seeking a Functional Platform Advisor to bridge warehouse and order management operations with IT delivery. This is not a technical configuration role. The focus is on translating business requirements into scalable Manhattan Active WM and OM product solutions aligned with global standards and templates.
Key Responsibilities
Capture and translate operational requirements into scalable WM and OM solutions.
Challenge business requests and promote standardization and fit-to-template solutions.
Distinguish genuine operational requirements from customer-specific preferences.
Conduct GAP analyses and recommend practical, product-aligned solutions.
Avoid unnecessary customization and support reusable platform capabilities.
Support functional design, testing, deployments and go-live activities.
Lead training and knowledge sharing across operational and project teams.
Collaborate with Operations, IT, Product Owners and implementation partners.
Required Experience
At least five years of experience in warehouse operations, WMS/OMS implementation or functional advisory.
Strong operational understanding of warehouse processes and end-to-end order flows.
Hands-on knowledge of Manhattan Active WM and solid exposure to Manhattan Active OM.
Ability to translate business needs into scalable product and system solutions.
Confidence to challenge stakeholders and influence fit-to-template decisions.
Experience with GAP analysis, QA, SIT, UAT and go-live support.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Willingness to travel internationally approximately one week every four to six weeks.
