Job Location: Pleasantville, NY (Hybrid || 4 Days Onsite and 1 Day Remote)

Job Duration: Fulltime

A client of ours is looking for a highly motivated and technically strong SAP EWM/MM Consultant to support warehouse operations, system enhancements, and ongoing projects. This role requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable working directly on the warehouse floor and partnering closely with business users.

The ideal candidate will bring a balanced functional and technical skill set, along with the ability to translate operational warehouse needs into effective SAP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary regional owner for SAP EWM processes and related initiatives

  • Partner with IT to test, implement, and deploy system updates and enhancements

  • Act as the main point of contact for warehouse super-users, providing hands-on support, troubleshooting, and training

  • Work closely with warehouse teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions

  • Monitor and optimize warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, and inventory processes

  • Support and maintain warehouse-related hardware and integrations (e.g., printers, automation systems, conveyors, Kardex, etc.)

  • Troubleshoot system issues, including IDocs, RFCs, and integration points, to minimize operational disruption

  • Configure and support SAP outputs, labels, and forms (Adobe Lifecycle, PPFs, etc.)

  • Support embedded shipping solutions and third-party integrations

  • Maintain SAP material master data relevant to EWM/MM

  • Collaborate with global teams and external vendors on process improvements and system enhancements

  • Develop documentation, SOPs, and lead knowledge-sharing sessions to drive user adoption

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with SAP WM/EWM (S/4HANA or ECC)

  • Experience with at least 2 end-to-end SAP implementations

  • Strong understanding of EWM configuration and warehouse execution processes

  • Proven experience working on-site in a warehouse environment and engaging directly with operations teams

  • Ability to operate independently and take ownership of systems and processes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SAP MM and broader supply chain (SCM) processes

  • Exposure to decentralized EWM environments

  • Experience with third-party shipping tools (e.g., ShipERP, Paccurate, or similar)

  • Knowledge of integration tools (e.g., SAP Integration Suite, Seeberger)

  • Background in retail, e-commerce, or high-volume logistics environments

  • Experience working in global SAP environments

  • Strong Excel/reporting skills

  • Spanish language skills are a plus

Additional Notes

  • This role requires a candidate who is well-versed in warehouse operations and comfortable working cross-functionally

  • Preference for individuals who can bridge the gap between technical teams and warehouse users

  • Local, onsite presence is important due to the hands-on nature of the role
