We are looking for an experienced developer to: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications, APIs, and automation solutions using Python.
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
- Build and support ETL/data integration processes for enterprise applications and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with business users, architects, and development teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Monitor application and database performance and implement performance tuning improvements.
- Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and production support activities.
- Develop integrations with internal and external systems using REST APIs and data services.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to Agile ceremonies and technical documentation.
Basic Qualifications - Minimum 8 years of experience in Python application development and SQL programming.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing REST APIs, data integration solutions, and automation frameworks.
- Strong expertise in SQL query optimization, database design, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Python frameworks/libraries such as Flask, Fast API, Django, Pandas, or equivalent.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Travel: No travel required.
DegreeBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Nice to Have (But Not a Must) - Experience with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL platforms, or big data technologies.
- Technical leadership or project lead experience.
- Relevant Python, SQL, or Cloud certifications.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this role is [$80/hr on W2]. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
