Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth code reviews to identify security vulnerabilities and provide remediation guidance.
- Lead application security assessments, including threat modeling and defining security requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to integrate security controls into development practices.
- Maintain secure coding standards and provide coaching to engineering teams.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents according to established procedures.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of secure software development practices and application security technologies.
- Experience with cloud-native and containerized security concepts, particularly AWS IAM.
- Ability to conduct security reviews and implement effective security systems.
- Demonstrated experience in secure code review and vulnerability management.
- Excellent interpersonal and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience with AI/ML security reviews and MLOps controls.
- Knowledge of recognized security frameworks relevant to app and AI security.
- Possession of relevant certifications like CISSP or OWASP is desirable.
