Role Overview
We are seeking experienced RF engineers for a role focused on Antennas, Electromagnetics, RF/Microwave design, Digital beamforming, and Hardware/Subsystem Integration and Test. The qualified candidate will join a team of engineers developing innovative and cost-effective systems that support a broad range of products. Applicants should possess the ability to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and troubleshoot Line Replacement Unit (LRU) and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA) of RF architecture.
- Recommend data-driven requirements for threshold adjustments.
- Perform subsystem analysis, including hardware from RF to digits.
- Support performance testing and requirements verification.
- Troubleshoot complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
- Derive, flow-down, and configure subsystem requirements (hardware and software).
- Create test support applications and tools using MATLAB, Python, etc.
Required Qualifications
This role can be filled at either the Engineer or Principal Engineer level.
Basic Qualifications for Engineer:- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience; or 0 years of experience with a Master's Degree. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Candidates must be willing and able to obtain a DOD secret clearance prior to starting program work, within a reasonable timeframe as determined by the program.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills for a variety of RF/Microwave design and test-related problems.
- Proven knowledge of electrical engineering, design software, and equipment.
- Expertise in testing and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience troubleshooting RF hardware/subsystems.

- Proven knowledge of electrical engineering, design software, and equipment.
- Expertise with troubleshooting RF hardware/subsystems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DOD Secret Clearance
- Experience testing, troubleshooting, or designing RF hardware/subsystems.
- Experience troubleshooting electronic equipment to the component level.
- Familiarity with RF lab test equipment such as signal generators, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers.
- Hands-on experience with test sets like Common RF Test Set (CRFTS), LM-STAR, or Hiller Test sets.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware/software integration problems.
- Experience with using or developing software to control hardware (such as MATE or AMAX).
- Background in test scripting, data analysis, and/or signal processing.
- Experience mentoring other design and/or RF test engineers.
Work Environment
This role is for the 3rd shift, which operates from 9:00 PM to 4:59 AM, Monday through Friday.
