RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking an experienced salesforce solution architect to support a large-scale, greenfield Salesforce customer technology transformation for a regulated energy and utilities organization. The program is modernizing utility customer operations, customer programs, service experiences, data capabilities, integrations, and legacy Salesforce environments while reducing technical debt and preparing the future-state platform for production adoption.
Role Overview :
The Salesforce Solution Architect will provide end-to-end solution leadership for the greenfield customer transformation. The role will align business capabilities and utility processes to Energy & Utilities Cloud, OmniStudio and OmniScript, the Clean Energy Module, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, integrations, data migration, security, and enterprise architecture standards.
Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end solution architecture for a greenfield Salesforce customer transformation
* Define target-state architecture across Energy & Utilities Cloud, OmniStudio and OmniScript, the Clean Energy Module, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, integrations, data migration, security, and release strategy
* Translate utility customer processes, customer programs, clean-energy offerings, eligibility rules, and legacy business logic into scalable solution designs without carrying forward unnecessary technical debt
* Determine when requirements should be addressed through standard platform capabilities, OmniScripts, Flow, Data Cloud, integrations, custom development, or process change
* Align Salesforce architecture with SAP BTP, customer APIs, enterprise systems, security, data governance, accessibility, and operational support standards
* Lead architecture and design reviews, resolve cross-workstream decisions, validate implementation quality, and remain engaged through testing, deployment, and production transition
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of relevant enterprise delivery experience, including principal-level ownership of complex architecture decisions, risks, and outcomes
* Deep Salesforce solution architecture experience across complex enterprise implementations and greenfield transformations
* Demonstrated architecture experience with Salesforce Energy & Utilities Cloud, OmniStudio and OmniScript, and the Salesforce Clean Energy Module
* Strong experience with Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud, Salesforce data models, security and sharing, automation, integrations, data migration, and environment strategy
* Experience evaluating standard versus custom solutions, managing legacy modernization, and guiding distributed delivery teams through implementation
* Exceptional communication skills with the ability to facilitate decisions and explain architecture, risks, and tradeoffs in clear business language
* Experience working in Agile or iterative delivery environments with cross-functional onshore and offshore teams
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain decisions, document risks and dependencies, and collaborate directly with business and technology stakeholders
* Experience using enterprise-approved AI-assisted tools where appropriate, with independent validation of outputs
Preferred Qualifications:
* Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect, Energy & Utilities Cloud, OmniStudio, Service Cloud, or Data Cloud credentials
* Utility customer information system, clean-energy program, or regulated-industry transformation experience
* SAP BTP, MuleSoft, customer APIs, event-driven architecture, or enterprise data-platform experience
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
