Oracle EPM EPBCS Data Integration & AI Agent Specialist

Location: Remote / Hybrid (US)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EPM EPBCS Data Integration & AI Agent Specialist to join a strategic, multi-year Finance Transformation program. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise planning solutions within Oracle EPBCS while driving automation through Oracle AI Agents and advanced data integration capabilities.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud, including EPBCS, Data Integration, Data Exchange, REST APIs, EPM Automate, and AI-driven automation solutions. This position will work closely with Finance, ERP, Data Engineering, and Analytics teams to modernize planning, forecasting, and financial close processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle EPBCS Development & Administration

• Configure, enhance, and support Oracle EPBCS modules including:

  • Financials

  • Capital Expenditure (CapEx)

  • Projects

  • Assets

  • Custom Planning Models

• Design and maintain scalable planning models and metadata structures.

• Manage metadata integrations with Oracle Enterprise Data Management Cloud Service (EDMCS).

• Build and support outbound integrations to downstream reporting and analytics platforms, including Oracle Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).

• Optimize planning applications for performance, scalability, and usability.

Data Integration & Automation

• Design and implement end-to-end data integration solutions using:

  • Oracle Data Integration

  • Data Exchange

  • Data Management (FDMEE Concepts)

  • EPM Automate

  • REST APIs

• Build automated workflows for:

  • Actuals loading

  • Forecast refreshes

  • Metadata synchronization

  • Scenario rollovers

  • Period close activities

• Integrate EPBCS with Oracle ERP, flat files, and Snowflake data sources.

• Monitor and troubleshoot data loads, mappings, validation rules, and reconciliation issues.

• Develop automation scripts using Linux shell scripting and API frameworks.

AI Agent Implementation & Intelligent Automation

• Configure and deploy Oracle EPM AI Agents to automate business processes including:

  • Data validation

  • Variance analysis

  • Intercompany reconciliation

  • Financial narrative generation

  • Close process orchestration

• Develop AI-driven anomaly detection and predictive insight capabilities.

• Collaborate with Oracle product teams, AI architects, and business stakeholders to evaluate and implement emerging AI features.

• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort and improve planning accuracy through intelligent automation.

Finance Transformation Delivery

• Partner with Finance and FP&A teams to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable EPM solutions.

• Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to establish source-to-target integration strategies.

• Support redesign and automation of:

  • Monthly Close Processes

  • Forecasting Cycles

  • Annual Budget Planning

  • Long-Range Strategic Planning

• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance, security, and reporting standards.

• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives across planning and reporting functions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with ERP, Analytics, Finance, and Data teams to ensure consistent business definitions and integration standards.

• Create and maintain technical design documents, support documentation, and operational runbooks.

• Provide knowledge transfer, training, and guidance to Finance and IT teams.

• Support testing, deployment, hypercare, and post-production stabilization activities.

Required Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud solutions.

• Strong expertise in Oracle EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service).

• Extensive experience with:

  • Data Integration

  • Data Exchange

  • Data Management

  • EPM Automate

  • REST APIs

• Experience developing automation solutions using scripting and API frameworks.

• Knowledge of Oracle EPM AI Agents or similar AI-powered automation technologies.

• Strong understanding of:

  • Corporate Finance Operations

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise planning and finance transformation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle FCCS, ARCS, or PCMCS.

• Background in Finance, Accounting, FP&A, or Corporate Finance.

• Experience supporting Finance Transformation, ERP modernization, or digital transformation programs.

• Knowledge of:
