Healthcare Client is seeking a Assistant Director (Senior Cloud & Automation Engineer) to lead the design, implementation, and automation of enterprise multi-cloud infrastructure across AWS and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in a highly technical, 100% hands-on role within a healthcare environment.

Tasks:

• Design and implement enterprise-grade multi-cloud architectures across AWS and OCI, including high availability, disaster recovery, and advanced networking patterns
• Build and manage AWS Control Tower, Landing Zones, and multi-account architectures with guardrails, SCPs, and centralized security controls
• Develop and maintain AWS Account Factory automation, organizational unit structures, and billing/resource provisioning workflows
• Architect and support AWS Direct Connect and OCI FastConnect with proactive monitoring, alerting, and failure detection
• Execute complex cloud migrations including workload assessment, dependency mapping, and automation tooling
• Implement cloud cost optimization strategies including rightsizing, reserved instances, and cost allocation
• Develop advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
• Build CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning, testing frameworks, and automated deployment strategies
• Engineer automated provisioning workflows with approval processes, rollback capabilities, and compliance validation
• Create golden image pipelines using Packer with security hardening and multi-cloud distribution
• Design monitoring, logging, and SIEM solutions with advanced analytics, alerting, and automated incident response
• Implement centralized logging, observability dashboards, and predictive alerting systems
• Architect and enforce enterprise security frameworks including IAM, encryption, IPS/IDS, and zero-trust networking
• Develop HIPAA-compliant security and auditing frameworks with automated compliance monitoring
• Provide technical advisory services to leadership on infrastructure, systems, and operational improvements
• Conduct research, data analysis, and develop recommendations for new programs, systems, and procedures
• Lead special projects, develop implementation plans, and monitor execution and effectiveness
• Oversee budgets, analyze policies for compliance risks, and recommend corrective actions
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and represent leadership in committees and workgroups
• Supervise and evaluate staff supporting infrastructure and project initiatives

Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of expert-level, hands-on experience with AWS and OCI in enterprise environments
• Deep expertise in AWS Control Tower, Organizations, Landing Zones, and multi-account architecture design
• Advanced experience with AWS Direct Connect and OCI FastConnect
• Expert-level proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible
• Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, and PowerShell for infrastructure automation
• Proven experience building enterprise CI/CD pipelines with integrated security and testing
• Advanced knowledge of SIEM, monitoring, logging, and observability solutions
• Strong background in cloud security architecture, including IAM, encryption, and vulnerability management
• Experience implementing HIPAA-compliant systems and healthcare security standards
• Deep understanding of infrastructure design, scalability, and performance optimization
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and knowledge transfer
• Master''s degree with 3 years of relevant experience (including 1 year in a managerial role), OR
• Bachelor''s degree with 4 years of relevant experience (including 2 years in a managerial role), OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
