Role Overview

• We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with strong Snowflake and DBT expertise to support data initiatives related to mergers and acquisitions. This role is heavily focused (90–100%) on Snowflake and DBT development, including data extraction, transformation, modeling, and analysis.
• The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, collaborate closely with product and cross-functional teams, and efficiently pull and analyze data to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Pull, mine, and analyze data from Snowflake.
• Build and manage data transformation pipelines using DBT.
• Develop and maintain data models within Snowflake.
• Support M&A initiatives by integrating and analyzing partner data.
• Collaborate closely with product teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and modeling work.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and performance optimization.
• Communicate insights clearly to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall experience in data engineering or analytics.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Strong experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Experience pulling and transforming data within Snowflake.
• Strong analytical and data mining skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Nice to Have

• DataStage experience (preferred but not required).

• Experience working in fast-paced, high-visibility projects.
