Windchill PLM Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Windchill PLM Consultant with strong expertise in Windchill PDMLink configuration, customization, and enterprise integrations. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), part configuration management, BOM structures, and change management processes. This role will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and enterprise systems teams to streamline product data management and integrations with ERP and MES platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, customize, and support Windchill PLM solutions with a focus on PDMLink.
• Manage and enhance Windchill modules including:
  • Parts Management
  • BOM Management
  • Document Management
  • Change & Workflow Management
• Develop and maintain Windchill customizations using Java, APIs, and workflow configurations.
• Support part configuration management and product structure governance.
• Integrate Windchill PLM with downstream ERP and MES systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and IT teams to gather requirements and implement scalable PLM solutions.
• Troubleshoot system issues, optimize performance, and provide production support.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and deployment activities.
• Create technical documentation, design specifications, and user training materials.
• Ensure PLM processes align with engineering and manufacturing business operations.

Required Qualifications:

• 7–10+ years of hands-on experience with Windchill PLM.
• Strong expertise in Windchill PDMLink configuration and customization.
• Experience with:
  • Parts Management
  • BOM Management
  • Document Management
  • Change Management
• Strong understanding of Product Configuration and Engineering Change processes.
• Experience integrating Windchill with ERP and MES systems.
• Proficiency in Java, Windchill APIs, workflows, and customization frameworks.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in cross-functional enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Creo integration.
• Exposure to manufacturing and engineering environments.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Windchill upgrade and migration experience.
• Experience with REST APIs and enterprise integration tools.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP ERP integration.
• Understanding of digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
• PLM architecture and solution design experience.
