Compensation: Up to $140,000 base + 20% bonus

Job Description
We are seeking an AI Application Engineer to design, build, and integrate Generative AI powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) and modern GenAI frameworks. This role focuses on building endtoend AI applications and productionready prototypes, including RetrievalAugmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, conversational interfaces, and intelligent tooling that enhance advisor and engineering workflows.
You will work handson with Python, LLM APIs, vector databases, and GenAI orchestration frameworks to rapidly prototype and operationalize AI solutions in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
GenAI Application Development
- Build and integrate applications using LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Copilot) and GenAI frameworks
- Develop system prompts, agent workflows, and AIorchestrated tools
- Prototype conversational interfaces, advisor tools, and AI assistants
RAG & Knowledge Systems
- Design and implement RAG pipelines using embeddings and vector search
- Integrate structured and unstructured data from APIs, databases, and document repositories
- Optimize retrieval relevance, latency, and response quality
Data Integration & Automation
- Ingest and consolidate data from REST APIs, enterprise systems, and knowledge sources
- Develop intelligent automation and AIassisted engineering tooling
Prototype Delivery & Experimentation
- Deliver productionready prototypes and proofofconcepts
- Iterate quickly based on stakeholder and user feedback
DevOps & Operationalization
- Package and deploy applications using containers, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
- Apply monitoring, observability, testing, and secure coding practices
- Ensure alignment with Responsible AI, privacy, and data governance standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong Python development experience
- Handson experience building applications with LLMs
- Experience with RAG architectures, embeddings, and vector databases
- Familiarity with LangChain and/or Semantic Kernel
- Experience integrating APIs and heterogeneous data sources
- Understanding of containers and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong problemsolving and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with multimodal AI workflows
- Exposure to AI evaluation, guardrails, or monitoring
- Financial services or enterprise platform experience
