Title: Application Solution Architect

Our client is seeking an Application Solution Architect to design and lead API and real-time streaming architectures (Kafka-based) within financial services environments. This role will drive modern, scalable, and secure platform design across event-driven and API-first ecosystems.

Responsibilities & Qualifications ::

• Design and lead real-time data architecture using Kafka, Spark, and microservices
• Define and implement API-first and event-driven architectures across hybrid cloud environments
• Establish architecture standards for performance, scalability, resilience, and high availability
• Embed security and compliance across APIs and streaming platforms (OAuth2, mTLS, encryption)
• Guide clients through modernization from legacy systems to event-driven platforms
• Collaborate with business, engineering, and security stakeholders to deliver enterprise architecture solutions
• Provide architectural governance and ensure adherence to financial services regulatory standards

Requirements ::

• 6+ years of experience in solution or enterprise architecture.
• Strong expertise in Apache Kafka and real-time streaming platforms.
• Experience designing REST APIs, asynchronous systems, and microservices architectures.
• Experience with API gateways and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid architectures.
• Experience in financial services environments (banking, payments, capital markets, or lending).
• Understanding of regulatory frameworks (PCI-DSS, SOX, etc.).
• Strong stakeholder communication and consulting/advisory experience.
