SAP PP/QM Solution/Functional Architect - Fulltime

We need an SAP PP/QM Solution/Functional Architect

• 15–18+ years SAP experience, with strong S/4HANA PP/QM expertise and preferably in Steel, Tubing, Metals or Pipe Manufacturing industry experience.
• Lead the SAP S/4HANA PP/QM solution architecture and SAP S4 HANA transformation for a Speciality Tubing/Steel manufacturing organization.
• Should have worked in SAP S/4 HANA Mill Products solution
• Should have a thorough understanding of Long Products and the challenges that the industry faces in managing the process through SAP
• Design end-to-end Plan-to-Produce, Production Execution and Quality Management processes.
• Bring strong understanding of tube manufacturing, cut-to-length, variant configuration, Heat, Batch Management, yield, scrap, rework and production variances.
• Design MRP, capacity planning, production scheduling, production orders and shop-floor execution processes including Handling Unit Management.
• Architect batch/heat traceability and material genealogy from raw material through finished tube and customer shipment.
• Design QM processes covering incoming, in-process and final inspection, testing, non-conformance and quality release.
• Design customer-specific specifications, inspection characteristics and Mill Test/Quality Certificates.
• Address MTO/MTS, material allocation, batch determination and customer-specific inventory requirements.
• Lead integration with MES, shop-floor systems, EWM, weighing/testing systems and other SAP modules.
• Lead fit-to-standard, solution design, configuration governance, testing, cutover and go-live, ensuring SAP clean-core principles.
• Should be able to conduct Workshops with Business to walk through standard Best Practices for the Mill and Mining industry, challenge business in terms of Custom processes
• Should be able to handle Demo’s of the SAP standard business processes and configured business processes
• Should have good communication and should be able to articulate well before a team of veteran manufacturing professionals.
• Domain knowledge in the Metal & Mining industry is preferred
