If you thrive in a collaborative environment that values exceptional client service, initiative, professionalism, responsiveness, and adaptability, we invite you to consider joining our Information Technology department in our Chicago office as an Assistant Director: Global Analytics Delivery.

The Assistant Director: Global Analytics Delivery owns end-to-end delivery for the firm's business intelligence, data science, and GenAI analytics solutions. Reporting into Director: Global Data and Analytics, this role builds and delivers a prioritized roadmap in partnership with stakeholders across the firm, while leading a blended team of 8-10 BI and data science professionals.

The position ensures successful strategic outcomes through team leadership, technical oversight, stakeholder alignment, and disciplined portfolio management. Starting from an established enterprise data strategy and a governed, modern Microsoft data platform, the role applies discipline to a prioritized queue of high-value analytics projects for both the business and practice of law.

The successful candidate brings hands-on experience delivering programs that span both business intelligence and data science, working expertise in AI concepts and their practical application on a Microsoft-centered stack, including Fabric, Power Platform, and Databricks. Success is measured on disciplined, quality, on-time delivery of impactful analytics solutions with demonstrable business value aligned to firm strategy.

  • Build and own the analytics delivery roadmap: a prioritized, capacity driven queue of BI, data science, and AI-agent projects sequenced with stakeholders and the firm's strategic programs to maximize business value
  • Translate firm and senior-leadership priorities into scoped, estimated, committed work, matching the right technique to the right problem and making explicit trade-offs on scope, quality, and timeline; continuously update the portfolio as priorities, capacity, and platform capabilities evolve
  • Own delivery cadence, prioritization, and quality for all business and practice facing analytics output, holding the team and stakeholders to standards, timelines, and strict adherence to scope
  • In coordination with the Director and program managers, establish and continuously refine the delivery operating model, including intake, scoping, build, review, release, and adoption
  • Define, track, and report delivery and value-realization metrics, including throughput, on-time performance, quality, adoption, and business impact, to IT and firm leadership
  • Oversee data science research and proof-of-concept activity that enhances analytical capabilities and strengthens controls for AI agents, model output, and automated workflows
  • Ensure delivered solutions comply with the firm's data governance, security, and AI controls, partnering with Enterprise Data, Information Governance and Information Security
  • Serve as the point of accountability between the Analytics team and business leadership, practice groups, and operational functions; build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders
  • Manage contractor and vendor resources supporting delivery, including scoping engagements, overseeing quality, and holding partners to delivery commitments
  • Provide input to the Director on budget, headcount, tooling, and external spend for Analytics
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required to meet Firm goals and objectives
