Job Summary This role involves leveraging expertise in Oracle Performance Tuning and PostgreSQL. The Technology Specialist will work in a hybrid model, focusing on enhancing system efficiency and reliability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions. Key Responsibilities Optimize database performance by analyzing and tuning Oracle systems to ensure maximum efficiency and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance. Develop and maintain scripts and tools to automate routine database tasks and improve operational efficiency. Monitor database systems proactively to identify potential bottlenecks and implement corrective measures. Provide technical expertise and guidance on Oracle Performance Tuning best practices. Design and implement strategies to enhance database security and ensure compliance with organizational standards. Conduct regular performance assessments and generate reports to highlight areas for improvement and track progress. Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and trends to incorporate innovative solutions into existing systems. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Document processes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity. Support the development and deployment of new database features and functionalities as required. Ensure database solutions align with organizational goals and service delivery requirements. Design, develop, and maintain database systems with a focus on PostgreSQL, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Implement database design standards and best practices. Monitor and optimize database performance. Perform backups, restorations, and data migration activities. Stay current with emerging database technologies and industry trends. Participate in code reviews and provide technical recommendations. Automate database administration and operational processes where applicable. Ensure data compliance and governance requirements are met. Communicate with stakeholders regarding database initiatives and operational status. Proactively identify and address potential database issues. Required Qualifications Expertise in Oracle Performance Tuning. Experience in Database Administration. Strong experience with PostgreSQL. Experience monitoring and optimizing database performance. Experience developing and maintaining database scripts and automation tools. Experience with database backup, recovery, and migration processes. Knowledge of database security best practices. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Education: Bachelors Degree
