Summary

Zeochem is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team and support safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for overseeing maintenance personnel, maintenance planning and execution, preventive and predictive maintenance activities, contractor coordination, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives that support operational performance and equipment reliability.

Working closely with Operations, Engineering, and other departments, the Maintenance Manager plays a key role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance, and ensuring the safe and effective operation of plant equipment, utilities, and facilities. As a 24/7 operation, this role supports both 8-hour and 12-hour shift employees and requires flexibility to provide leadership coverage during nights and weekends as needed.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and develop a team of skilled maintenance professionals
  • Coordinate maintenance priorities to support production and operational objectives
  • Further expand preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and performance
  • Drive safe work practices and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Coordinate contractors and external service providers to support maintenance and plant improvement activities
  • Partner with Operations, Engineering, and the Project & Reliability Engineer to support equipment upgrades, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor maintenance performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and reliability
  • Assist in developing and managing departmental budgets and maintenance-related expenditures
  • Support long-term asset management and equipment replacement planning
What We're Looking For
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable
  • Experience leading maintenance operations in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systems
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to prioritize work, manage resources, and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, maintenance, or related field preferred
  • 7-10 years of industrial maintenance experience required
  • 5+ years prior leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Experience with contractor management, capital projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Experience with CMMS systems, preventive maintenance programs, and industrial utility systems strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of industrial safety programs, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements
