Summary

SENIOR Test Engineer

Location: Brea, CA (Onsite)

LOCAL TO CA OR PST WITH DL 

 

CANDIDATE MUST HAVE AIRLINE OR AEROSPACE INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate estimates for testing work, maintain transparency, and meet committed timelines
  • Help create, define, and improve software/hardware testing, test automation, OEM acceptance documentation, and QA processes
  • Prepare and present technical information clearly
  • Actively participate and contribute in meetings
  • Execute test procedures and report, document, and help triage issues
  • Perform feature validation, reproduce bugs, and verify bug fixes
  • Assist in building, setting up, and configuring test racks
  • Support setup and configuration of networks and other test equipment
  • Perform other assigned tasks and training as required

 

 Qualifications / Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 9-10 years of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in defining and executing test procedures
  • Experience in troubleshooting, reporting, and documenting software/hardware issues
  • Experience in IFE, avionics, audio/video, storage, or networking is preferred
