Business Systems Analyst

Location: Onsite in Pittsburgh, PA / Cleveland, OH / Dallas, TX (will start out hybrid, must be open to working fully onsite)
Type: Long-Term Contract to Hire
Pay: $50-$55/hour W2 

Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience working in enterprise SDLC environments supporting web and/or mobile applications. This individual will play a key role in gathering and refining requirements, writing user stories, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive successful delivery in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and production specifications for application changes and enhancements
• Define system scope and objectives based on user needs and business processes
• Lead and support business process improvement initiatives to drive better outcomes
• Gather, refine, and document detailed functional requirements and user stories
• Identify system constraints, dependencies, and impacts of proposed changes
• Provide recommendations and solutions to address business challenges
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders, developers, and QA teams throughout the SDLC
• Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives

Required Qualifications

• Experience working in an enterprise SDLC environment (web and/or mobile applications)
• Strong experience with requirements gathering and refinement
• Experience writing user stories and managing backlogs
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

• Background in Consumer Banking or financial services strongly preferred
