D365 Advanced Warehouse Management (AWM)

Vortex Consulting is seeking a senior level functional Dynamics 365 SCM Advanced Warehouse Management (AWM) consultant. This role will be responsible for solutioning and maintaining warehouse operations within a large D365 Supply Chain Management environment for a life sciences industry client.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and support D365 AWM solution for warehouse operations.
• Lead the setup of inbound (receiving, put-away), outbound (picking, packing, shipping), and inventory management processes.
• Optimize warehouse layouts, storage zones, and inventory tracking for real-time visibility.
• Provide functional expertise for D365 WMS resolving system issues and optimizing processes.
• Monitor and maintain warehouse system performance, ensuring seamless operations.
• Work with end-users and warehouse teams to troubleshoot issues and enhance system usability.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years of D365 SCM experience with WMS expertise
• Life sciences industry experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills
