Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Scoped / Custom Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will have strong platform development expertise, hands-on experience building custom applications, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues across multiple ServiceNow modules. This role will work closely with ServiceNow engineering teams supporting enterprise solutions hosted primarily on AWS.

Must-Have Skills

✅ ServiceNow Custom Application Development

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing and implementing Scoped and Custom Applications.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, integrations, platform customization, and development best practices.

✅ ServiceNow Platform Expertise

• Experience with Incident Management, Change Management, Service Catalog, Flow Designer, Knowledge Management, Workspace, Platform Analytics/Data Visualization, and Virtual Agent.
• Proven experience delivering successful ServiceNow implementations.

✅ Platform Engineering & Troubleshooting

• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across both familiar and unfamiliar ServiceNow platform areas.
• Strong understanding of scalable, secure, and maintainable application design.

✅ Code Quality & Development Standards

• Experience conducting code reviews.
• Strong focus on performance, security, maintainability, and reducing technical debt.
• Demonstrates responsible development practices and long-term solution sustainability.

✅ AI-Assisted Development

• Hands-on experience leveraging tools such as GitHub Copilot, ServiceNow AI capabilities, Amazon Q, or other GenAI-based development assistants.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve development productivity and code quality.

✅ Python & AWS Exposure

• Working experience with Python and AWS environments.
• Ability to support cloud-hosted enterprise applications.
