Join our enterprise DataOps Quality Engineering team supporting mission-critical data platforms within the Healthcare and Life Sciences sector. In this role, you will design, build, and execute robust automated quality engineering solutions to validate modern data pipelines, APIs, and Databricks-based data processing architectures.

responsibilities:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and execute automated quality engineering tests for data pipelines, APIs, and Databricks-based data processing solutions.
- Develop reusable automation frameworks using Python and Pytest to perform SQL-based source-to-target reconciliations and data-quality validations.
- Validate ETL/ELT pipelines, data transformation logic, Delta tables, and large-scale datasets across environments.
- Integrate automated test suites directly into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to support continuous regression, integration, and API testing.
- Partner with data engineers, developers, and business stakeholders to identify defects, verify fixes, and ensure production-grade data integrity.
qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Bachelor's of Engineering Degree.
5+ years of hands-on experience in Test Automation and Data/ETL Quality Engineering.
5+ years of experience with Python, Pytest, and writing advanced SQL queries for data reconciliation and quality checks.
5+ years of experience testing Databricks data processing workloads and APIs.
Proven ability to validate large-volume datasets, complex transformation rules, and data warehouse platforms (P3 Advanced level).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Domain experience within the Healthcare Payer industry.
Familiarity with PySpark and Delta Lake architecture.
Experience with Playwright automation.
Experience with Azure Cloud services and building automated CI/CD test gates in Azure DevOps.
Background in data pipeline performance and load testing.
