Job Title - Project Manager 1
Work Location - Remote (East Coast time zone Prefered)
Duration - 2 years with possible extension
Required hours - 35 hours/week
Job Overview
  • We are seeking a Project Manager to support residential technical assistance initiatives related to early design support, enhanced commissioning, and high-performance / carbon-neutral building design.
  • This role will work closely with internal teams, architects, designers, developers, and other market partners to manage projects, review technical submissions, track deliverables, and help advance best practices in residential new construction and retrofit projects.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a pipeline of architecture and design projects submitted through technical assistance programs

  • Review technical proposals and project deliverables

  • Analyze project and program data related to energy savings and financial impacts

  • Track deadlines, deliverables, and invoicing in online systems

  • Engage with architects, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand market trends and opportunities

  • Support market research and strategy development for carbon-neutral and zero-emission building initiatives

  • Identify projects suitable for case studies and best-practice promotion

  • Participate in regular project meetings and support process improvements

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Building Sciences, Energy, or related field

  • Experience with project management, including schedules, budgets, and deliverables

  • Technical understanding of building design, construction practices, and residential building systems

  • Knowledge of energy-efficient equipment, renewable systems, and sustainable design approaches

  • Familiarity with Passive House, LEED, or similar certifications/strategies

  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment

Preferred
  • High-performance building technical training

  • Experience supporting clean energy, commissioning, sustainable construction, or technical assistance programs
