Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $70hr - $75hr
  • Design and build DevOps processes and procedures for large-scale applications across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Develop build plans, assist developers with troubleshooting failures, and manage software configurations.
  • Ensure successful execution of automated testing and continuous deployment pipelines.
  • Monitor production environments and maintain system stability and performance.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis to implement long-term solutions.
  • Provide off-hour support for mission-critical applications when required.
  • Follow enterprise Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards and compliance methodologies.
  • Adhere to governance, best practices, and optimize the use of organizational resources.
  • Address technical incidents and problems within defined service levels.

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software engineering, microservices, and related technologies.
  • Minimum 2 years of DevOps experience.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms or on-premise infrastructure.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.
  • Experience with database administration and application development tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Manage and optimize system configurations and deployments.
  • Monitor systems and resolve incidents in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth delivery processes.
  • Implement automation and improve operational efficiencies.

Should Have:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to new challenges.

Skills:

  • Linux and Windows administration, including IIS management.
  • Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Containers and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Automation tools and configuration management (Ansible).
  • Web technologies including REST APIs, SPAs, and gRPC.
  • Database technologies such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
  • Tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, and other source control systems.
  • Monitoring and reporting tools.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
