Strategic Sourcing Manager – Indirect / Facilities & Workplace Services (Contract)
Location: New York, NY (Hybrid – 1–2 days/week onsite)
Role Overview
Our client, is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to support indirect procurement categories with a focus on Facilities and Workplace Services. Categories include office services, facilities management, corporate transportation (Uber, taxi, limo), food delivery (e.g., Grubhub), and other corporate services.
This role will lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier selection, RFP execution, contract negotiation (including AIA/A1A-style agreements where applicable), and ongoing vendor performance management. The ideal candidate brings strong commercial acumen, category expertise, and experience in fast-paced financial or professional services environments.

Key Responsibilities
Category & Sourcing Strategy
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across facilities, workplace services, transportation, travel, and other indirect categories
- Lead RFP/RFQ processes and supplier evaluations
- Conduct market analysis to identify cost drivers and sourcing opportunities
- Drive cost savings, consolidation, and supplier optimization initiatives
Contract & Supplier Management
- Negotiate contracts, SLAs, and commercial terms (including AIA/A1A-style agreements where applicable)
- Manage supplier onboarding, performance tracking, and ongoing governance
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and legal standards
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with Facilities, Operations, Finance, and Office Services teams to align sourcing with business needs
- Provide guidance on supplier selection and contract decisions
- Support day-to-day procurement needs and escalations
Performance & Risk
- Monitor supplier performance and market conditions
- Identify and mitigate supply and service risks
- Drive continuous improvement across indirect spend categories
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
- 5–7 years of procurement or strategic sourcing experience
- Strong background in indirect categories (facilities, workplace services, corporate services)
- Experience with contract negotiation and supplier management
- Familiarity with AIA/A1A or equivalent contract frameworks
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Coupa, SAP Ariba, Oracle, or similar tools
