The Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Clinical Specialist
StaffRight Associates is seeking a high-caliber Nuclear Medicine Technologist to serve as a pivotal diagnostic lead within a premier healthcare network in the Southern Tier of New York. What You’ll Do (Impact & Execution)
Orchestrate Advanced Diagnostics: Execute a comprehensive suite of nuclear imaging and cardiology procedures with meticulous precision, ensuring the highest standards of data integrity for physician review.
Engineer Clinical Workflows: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of radiopharmaceuticals, including the precise calculation, preparation, and administration of doses while maintaining rigorous sterile protocols.
Spearhead Mobile Initiatives: Lead the deployment of mobile gamma camera systems across regional satellite clinics, operating with high autonomy to deliver hospital-grade cardiac imaging in diverse outpatient environments.
Galvanize Radiation Safety: Oversee the procurement, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials, serving as a primary steward for New York State regulatory compliance and departmental safety standards.
Architect Patient Experiences: Deliver sophisticated, age-appropriate clinical care that prioritizes patient comfort and safety, transforming complex technical procedures into seamless, compassionate interactions.
Innovate Quality Control: Conduct rigorous performance validation on imaging hardware and PACS systems, troubleshooting technical variances to maintain uninterrupted diagnostic excellence.
Collaborate on Therapeutic Strategy: Partner with radiologists and referring specialists to plan and execute therapeutic nuclear interventions, ensuring all pre-analytical requirements and safety benchmarks are exceeded.
What You Bring (Expertise & Profile)
Clinical Credentials: Active certification (or immediate eligibility) through the NMTCB or ARRT (N), paired with the requisite licensure to practice within New York State.
Technical Foundation: A formal academic background in Nuclear Medicine Technology, demonstrating a deep understanding of isotopic physics and cross-sectional anatomy.
Operational Agility: The versatility to transition between fixed-site hospital environments and mobile clinical settings, supported by a valid driver’s license and an independent professional mindset.
Commitment to Excellence: A proactive approach to life-saving care, evidenced by BLS certification and a dedication to continuous professional development and accreditation standards.
Analytical Precision: The ability to navigate complex nuclear medicine management systems and PACS, ensuring technical data is processed and archived with flawless accuracy.
