Job Description:
As an MDM Data Analyst, you will be a key contributor to our data services practice, working with the sales and delivery teams to ensure master data integrity, accuracy, and readiness across systems. You will support critical analytical and operational activities such as change impact assessments, data reconciliation, change control coordination, and ongoing data quality improvements. This role bridges business needs with technical execution and directly influences the success of clients data transformation initiatives.
Master Data Management (MDM) ensures that shared business-critical data (such as customer, product, account, or partner data) is consistent, accurate, and available for real-time decision making across the enterprise. MDM roles often involve governance, reconciliation, quality assurance, issue resolution, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct change impact assessments for proposed updates to master data attributes and workflows, identifying downstream effects on systems and business processes
- Perform data reconciliation across source systems and MDM hubs to identify discrepancies, duplicates, or inconsistencies and drive corrective action
- Support the change management process by coordinating data updates, validating changes, documenting approvals and ensuring smooth transitions
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Engineering, and Data Governance teams to align on master data definitions, rules, and stewardship activities
- Monitor and report on master data quality metrics (e.g., completeness, consistency, uniqueness, timeliness)
- Identify patterns, root causes, and risk areas impacting master data, and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities
- Maintain up-to-date documentation related to data standards, processes, workflows, mappings, and issue resolutions
- Act as a subject matter resource for internal teams and, when needed, for clients on master data processes and best practices
- Support regulatory and compliance requirements related to master data tracking and audit readiness
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Analysis, Data Quality, or a related discipline
- Experience with data reconciliation, impact analysis, and change coordination across large data systems
- Strong analytical ability, with attention to detail and a proven aptitude for solving data integrity issues
- Familiarity with data governance concepts and master data lifecycle management
- Familiarity with querying and data tools and ability to interpret large datasets
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and translate business requirements into action
- Exposure to data platforms (MDM systems, data integration tools, or data lakes) is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience with Master Data Management platforms or tooling (e.g., Reltio, Informatica MDM, Talend)
- Knowledge of enterprise CRM/ERP systems such as Salesforce
- Familiarity with data quality tools and dashboards
- Experience working closely with sales operations or delivery teams in a consulting or professional services context
