  • Provide engineering inputs for proposals and present bid summaries to management.
  • Provide technical support for production and development activities.
  • Contribute to trade studies and present results to stakeholders.
  • Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
  • Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with EO/IR systems in the design, analysis, development, troubleshooting, and testing of electrical and/or optical subsystems, including EO or IR technology.
  • Support for the development of product specifications and requirements management, including distilling and deriving requirements for lower-level subassemblies and components.
  • Involvement in system design, trade studies, optimization, and performance assessment.

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Participation in reviews associated with formal gating events and testing
  • Factory production and direct experience with IR FPA design and testing for tactical and/or space environments
  • Work with vacuum packaging, dewar design, cryogenic cooling, and/or opto-mechanics
  • Requirements Organization via DOORs
  • Experience creating analytical models and scripting for data analysis (MATLAB preferred)
  • Plan, lead, and execute root-cause and corrective-action (RCCA)
