Accountabilities- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization's technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

To be successful as a Senior Java/Kafka Engineer - AVP, you should have experience with:
- Java programming with Spring and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture
- Kafka architecture, including cluster design, performance tuning, and security
- Kafka Streams or Flink for building end-to-end real-time data pipelines
- CI/CD pipelines and automation using GitLab, including containerization and Docker deployment
- Enterprise middleware integration patterns involving messaging systems
Some other highly valued skills may include:
- Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies
- Ability to communicate clearly and work with geographically distributed teams
- Understanding of operational support considerations for production systems

Minimum Salary: $120,000
Maximum Salary: $175,000
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
