We are currently seeking a Mainframe Engineer/Developer - Client Site to join our team in New Jersey, New Jersey (US-NJ), United States (US).

Mainframe Engineer/Developer to join a collaborative, high-performing technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, test, and support mainframe applications while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions from development through production.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, enhance, test, and debug mainframe applications.
- Perform code analysis, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and environment teams to promote code across development, testing, and production environments.
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.
- Participate in application maintenance, enhancements, and issue resolution.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years of experience developing and debugging mainframe applications.
- 5+ years of COBOL development experience.
- Strong experience with:
- Experience with Endeavor Software Manager.
- Familiarity with DB2 utilities, File-AID, job schedulers, and debugging tools.
- Knowledge of secure file transfer processes (SFTP/AWX).
- Understanding of CICS Dynamic Transaction Routing is preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with technical and business stakeholders.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills- CICS systems administration knowledge.
- Experience with Java and front-end technologies such as Angular.
Education- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Pay TransparencyWhere required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $ $75,168-$156,600. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
