Summary

12+ years overall experience in data engineering / data platform roles.
2+ years of hands-on experience architecting and implementing on Microsoft Fabric.
Strong proficiency in SQL (performance tuning, complex transformations, analytics-ready modeling).
Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory (or Fabric pipelines), including orchestration patterns and parameterized pipelines.
Strong hands-on development in PySpark for scalable transformation workflows.
Experience implementing CI/CD for data workloads (Azure DevOps/GitHub, automated deployments, environment management).
Strong understanding of data engineering fundamentals (ingestion, transformations, modeling, orchestration, testing).
Strong knowledge of modern data architectures such as Medallion (Bronze/Silver/Gold), Data Vault, and related patterns.

Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with Snowflake (architecture, migration, performance).
Experience with Microsoft Purview for cataloging, lineage, and governance.
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and lineage within the Microsoft ecosystem (access controls, auditing, compliance).
Exposure to Power BI and Semantic Models (DAX/modeling is a plus).

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to translate business needs into scalable technical architecture.
Ownership mindset with the ability to lead delivery and drive outcomes.

Role Summary

We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of modern data platform solutions on Microsoft Fabric. The role requires strong technical depth across data engineering, orchestration, scalable lakehouse/warehouse design, and CI/CD practices, with the ability to guide teams and stakeholders through end-to-end delivery
