Job Description:

Cydecor is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable data pipelines that support enterprise analytics and mission systems within a Federal environment. This role focuses on cloud-based data engineering, automation, and data quality to ensure reliable ingestion, transformation, and integration of data across platforms.

Responsibilities include:
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure data pipelines using ETL/ELT methodologies
  • Build and operate cloud-based data pipelines in AWS or Azure environments
  • Perform data transformations, validation, and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability
  • Automate data workflows and infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
  • Develop and maintain data integration processes supporting batch and near-real-time data flows
  • Implement and optimize distributed data processing solutions
  • Ensure data pipelines adhere to security, performance, and compliance requirements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and integration issues
  • Collaborate with architects, analysts, and stakeholders to support data integration requirements
  • Document data pipelines, workflows, and technical processes in accordance with Federal standards

Here's what you need:
  • Four (4) years of hands-on experience in data engineering
  • Four (4) years of experience building and maintaining cloud-based data pipelines in AWS or Azure
  • Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines
  • Experience performing data transformations and data quality checks
  • Experience automating data flows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
  • Experience working with a distributed data processing framework such as Apache Spark

Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience supporting Federal or DoW data environments
  • Familiarity with cloud-native data integration and orchestration tools

Security Clearance:
  • Active Secret Clearance

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; five (5) years of experience providing IT services to DoW may be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree.

Work Schedule:
  • Hybrid
