Senior Mulesoft Developer

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Mulesoft Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ, Charlotte, NC and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role focuses on implementing services with the Mule ESB platform within a fast-paced, Agile environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of SOA principles, Integration Patterns, and both SOAP and REST based web services, contributing to a high-energy team dedicated to quality and simplicity.

Responsibilities:

• Write high-quality, fault tolerant code, typically with a 50% backend and 50% front-end split
• Build high-scale systems, libraries, and frameworks, and create associated test plans
• Adhere to modern CI/CD concepts and proactively suggest automation solutions for improvement
• Work with a complete Software Development Life Cycle using Java, J2EE, SpringBoot, and modern front-end frameworks
• Develop microservices with Spring Boot

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
• 10+ years of overall experience in support of information technology computer systems and databases
• 5+ years of working experience implementing services with Mule ESB platform (3.9.x, 4.4 or higher)
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (8/17), J2EE, SpringBoot, Spring MVC, HTML, and Angular
• Good understanding of SOA principles and Integration Patterns
• Good understanding of SOAP and REST based web services
• Working experience of Spring, Hibernate, and XML technologies like XPATH and XQuery
• Experience working in an Agile environment (Scrum based)
• Salesforce development experience
• Understanding of SQL
• Proficient with IDEs like Eclipse and IntelliJ, and version control systems like BitBucket
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented with a high degree of accountability
• Good oral and written communication skills

Desired skills:

• Exposure to Maven, Jenkins, and Bash Shell scripting
• Experience with Oracle Database

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour
