Data Center Technician (Lead/Trainer Focus)Location: Columbus, OH (100% Onsite)

Data Center Technicians to support a large-scale
data center expansion initiative. This is a unique opportunity for hands-on professionals to step into a
leadership and mentorship-focused role while remaining active in day-to-day technical operations. This position plays a key role in
developing and onboarding the next generation of data center technicians, supporting both
live environments and training labs.
Key Responsibilities- Support onboarding and development of new data center technicians
- Provide coaching and mentorship on best practices, safety, and operations
- Assist with server deployments, rack & stack, and hardware troubleshooting
- Deliver hands-on technical guidance in both training and production environments
- Help set up and maintain lab environments for training exercises
- Reinforce data center infrastructure standards (power, cooling, cabling)
- Complete documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with leadership and program managers
Required Qualifications- 3-6 years of hands-on experience in data center or infrastructure environments
- Experience working in live/production data centers
- Strong skills in server hardware, cabling, rack & stack, and troubleshooting
- Prior experience mentoring, training, or leading technicians
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to junior team members
Preferred Qualifications- Experience in hyperscale or enterprise data centers (Meta, AWS, Google, etc.)
- Experience in fiber, low voltage, or structured cabling
- Certifications such as BICSI, OSHA, or similar
- Bilingual is a plus

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
