We are seeking an experienced Datacenter Migration & Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to lead and execute large-scale infrastructure migration initiatives. The role focuses on migrating workloads across on-prem and cloud environments, including lift-and-shift migrations to a new datacenter, while ensuring stability, security, and minimal business disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead datacenter-to-datacenter migration projects, including new datacenter build and exit activities.
• Plan and execute lift-and-shift migrations of physical and virtual servers with minimal downtime.
• Migrate and integrate physical server platforms including Cisco, Dell, HPE, and Intel-based systems.
• Manage storage and backup migrations including Cohesity backup platforms and storage migrations from Nutanix to Pure Storage.
• Design and execute migration strategies across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud environments.
• Coordinate migration activities across compute, storage, network, security, and application teams.
• Execute migration cutovers, validation, rollback planning, and post-migration stabilization.
• Ensure compliance with change management, security standards, and operational best practices.
• Maintain detailed migration documentation, runbooks, and architecture diagrams.
• Work closely with vendors and technology partners to ensure successful delivery of migration objectives.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, datacenter operations, or cloud engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience in datacenter migration and consolidation projects.
• Proven experience with lift-and-shift migrations across physical, virtual, and cloud platforms.
• Experience working with on-prem infrastructure and public cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).

Technical Skills

• Virtualization: VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter, Nutanix AHV.
• Physical Servers: Cisco, Dell, HPE, Intel-based platforms.
• Storage: Nutanix, Pure Storage, SAN, NAS, iSCSI, NFS.
• Backup & DR: Cohesity, Veeam, or equivalent enterprise backup solutions.
• Operating Systems: Windows Server and Linux.
• Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, VLANs, firewalls, routing.

Automation & Tools (Preferred)

• Scripting: PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Automation and IaC tools: Ansible, Terraform, vRA/vRO.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as VMware VCP, Azure, AWS, or related infrastructure certifications are a plus.
