Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Rocket Mobius Developer with 8+ years of overall IT experience for a contract opportunity with TIAA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the Rocket Mobius Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platform, including development, configuration, integration, document/report processing, and production support.

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, configure, enhance, and support applications using Rocket Mobius ECM.
* Work extensively with Mobius View Direct and related Mobius components.
* Configure and maintain content repositories, document ingestion, indexing, archival, retrieval, and distribution processes.
* Develop and support integrations between Rocket Mobius and enterprise applications.
* Build and maintain automated document and report ingestion processes.
* Configure metadata, indexing, security, retention, and content retrieval.
* Develop/support APIs, web services, batch jobs, and file-based integrations.
* Troubleshoot complex Mobius application, document-processing, indexing, retrieval, and performance issues.
* Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent solutions for production issues.
* Participate in Mobius upgrades, migrations, patching, and modernization initiatives.
* Support SIT, UAT, production implementation, and post-production validation.
* Work closely with architects, infrastructure teams, DBAs, business analysts, QA, and application development teams.
* Prepare technical design, deployment, and operational support documentation.

Required Skills

* 8+ years of overall IT experience.
* Strong hands-on experience with Rocket Mobius ECM.
* Strong experience with Mobius ViewDirect.
* Experience with content repositories, document/report ingestion, indexing, archival, retrieval, retention, and distribution.
* Experience developing and supporting Mobius integrations with enterprise systems.
* Strong SQL and relational database skills.
* Experience with REST APIs, web services, batch processing, and file-based interfaces.
* Experience with Linux/Unix and shell scripting.
* Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production-support skills.
* Experience supporting high-volume, mission-critical enterprise applications.
* Understanding of security, access control, audit, retention, and records-management requirements.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with Rocket Mobius platform upgrades and migrations.
* Java or other enterprise application development experience.
* Mainframe and distributed-system integration experience.
* CI/CD, Git, Jira, and Agile/Scrum experience.
* Experience working within financial services, banking, retirement, insurance, or other highly regulated environments.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a senior hands-on Rocket Mobius Developer, rather than a purely administrative or support resource. The contractor should be capable of independently analyzing requirements, designing solutions, performing development and configuration, building integrations, troubleshooting complex production issues, and owning implementations through production.
