IT Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead complex application, infrastructure, clinical, and shared-services initiatives within a large enterprise environment. Successful candidates will possess a "paratrooper" mentality: the ability to quickly assess unfamiliar situations, create structure in ambiguous environments, identify critical risks, and drive outcomes with minimal direction. This individual must be comfortable operating within complex organizations, influencing diverse stakeholder groups, and leading high-visibility initiatives from initiation through delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong project management discipline with adaptability, resilience, and a bias toward action.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise application and infrastructure projects
* Quickly evaluate project health, identify risks, uncover dependencies, and determine critical-path activities
* Establish project governance, schedules, budgets, risk registers, communication plans, and decision-tracking processes
* Drive alignment among technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership
* Identify and resolve roadblocks while maintaining momentum toward business objectives
* Facilitate executive-level communications and provide concise project status updates and recommendations
* Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* Create order and accountability within projects that may lack structure or clear direction
* Escalate risks appropriately and help leadership make informed decisions

REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of experience managing technology projects in large-scale enterprise environments
* Demonstrated experience leading application development, infrastructure, systems implementation, or technology transformation initiatives
* Strong project governance, risk management, budgeting, and stakeholder-management skills
* Ability to quickly learn new technologies, business processes, and organizational structures
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization
* Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in complex or ambiguous environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
