Guidewire Architect / Lead (Cloud Integration)

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Guidewire Architect / Lead with strong expertise in cloud integration. The ideal candidate will lead architecture design, integration strategy, and implementation of Guidewire solutions, with some exposure to MuleSoft (no, you don’t have to be a MuleSoft wizard, just don’t panic when you see it).

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end architecture and design for Guidewire (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter)
Define and implement cloud integration strategies across enterprise systems
Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions
Design APIs, integrations, and microservices architecture
Ensure system performance, scalability, and security best practices
Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams
Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD and cloud deployment
Support integration using MuleSoft where required

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Guidewire Suite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter)
Proven experience as Architect or Technical Lead
Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
Hands-on experience with integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs
Experience with microservices architecture
Good knowledge of Java/J2EE and Guidewire Gosu
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Strong problem-solving and leadership skills

Nice to Have:

Exposure to MuleSoft (even limited is fine)
Experience in insurance domain
Knowledge of event-driven architecture (Kafka, etc.)
