Job Title: Civil Eng Tech 2
Location: Vancouver, WA
Client: American federal agency
Duration: 12 Month Contract
Pay Rate: $41/hr on w2
Number of Days Onsite: 2 days per Week
REQUIREMENTS:
Education & Corresponding Experience (required on matrix):
· A degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or a closely related field is preferred.
o With a bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, 1 year of experience is required.
o With an associate’s degree in an applicable field, 3 years of experience is required.
o Without an applicable degree, 5 years of experience is required.
· Experience must include specific engineering technician experience and demonstrate a wide range of project tasks.
Required Technical Skills & Experience (required on matrix):
· With a bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, 6 months’ experience in the following is required:
· MicroStation CAD platform or similar program and associated add-on product
· Maintaining all drawing and engineering records using ProjectWise or similar document management software.
· With an associate’s degree in an applicable field, 3 years’ experience in the following is required:
· MicroStation CAD platform or similar program and associated add-on products
· Maintaining all drawing and engineering records using ProjectWise or similar document management software.
· Without an applicable degree, 5 years’ experience in the following is required:
· MicroStation CAD platform or similar program and associated add-on products
· Maintaining all drawing and engineering records using ProjectWise or similar document management software.
Preferred Skills & Experience (optional on matrix):
· Experience in Electric Utility sector with an emphasis on structural design.
· Knowledge of DOE, BPA, NERC, FERC, and other regulatory agency policies, standards, directives, codes and guidelines applicable to public electric utilities, power plants, and transmission systems to carry out a wide range of civil engineering technician assignments associated with transmission line, fiber-optic, and wireless facilities design and analysis.
