Job Description
We are seeking an Application Programmer III to join our data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Hadoop, Informatica, Teradata, and Oracle SQL/PLSQL and a proven ability to design and deliver scalable ETL solutions in a Data Warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop ETL solutions in a Data Warehouse environment.
- Work across multiple concurrent projects and take end-to-end ownership of deliverables.
- Partner with near-shore and offshore teams and coordinate with L2, development, testing, and upstream/downstream partners.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to translate requirements into high-level and detailed designs.
- Engage with Information Architecture to propose technical solutions and address production issues.
- Identify technology gaps and propose feasible solutions and improvements.
- Own and review offshore technical deliveries to ensure quality and standards adherence.
- Support development and QA teams during post-development and testing phases.
- Ensure compliance with defined processes, quality standards, and team governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Hadoop, Informatica, Teradata, and Oracle/Exadata.
- Expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL with performance tuning for large data volumes.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processing, Data Warehousing, and Dimensional Data Modeling.
- Ability to design systems with limited guidance and deliver high-quality solutions.
- Effective leadership, communication, writing, and relationship skills across varied stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and logical problem-solving skills; ability to multitask and work independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in large financial organizations.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices.
Work Arrangement & Notes:
- Hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week in Addison, TX.
- Two openings. Glider assessment: BOA-AppProg-IV-V-3.
- Hours per day: 8. Labor type: Technical.
