Summary

We are seeking an experienced Node.js and Next.js Developer with 4 years of hands-on experience to build scalable, high-performance web applications. The role requires strong expertise in backend development using Node.js and modern frontend development using Next.js, along with a solid understanding of full-stack architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications using Node.js
  • Build responsive and high-performance web applications using Next.js
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and developers
  • Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and security
  • Implement server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG) using Next.js
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack
  • Ensure best practices in CI/CD, testing, and deployment

Required Qualifications:

  • 4 years of professional experience in JavaScript development
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and frameworks like Express.js
  • Hands-on experience with Next.js (SSR, SSG, API routes)
  • Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+); TypeScript is a plus
  • Experience with REST APIs and backend architecture
  • Familiarity with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
  • Knowledge of authentication and authorization (JWT, OAuth)
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker is a plus.
