Product Owner with Private Markets experience

Overview: This role is for a Junior Product Owner / Product Analyst who supports the development and enhancement of digital products that power our client-facing web platforms. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, UX/design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences for clients across the firm s asset management business.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with business and digital stakeholders to gather, document, and refine requirements for client-facing web platforms and digital tools
• Translate business and user needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements with a strong focus on user experience
• Collaborate with engineering and UX teams during backlog grooming, sprint planning, and prioritization
• Serve as a key liaison between business, design, and engineering to ensure alignment on scope, functionality, and user outcomes
• Support testing efforts, including defining test scenarios, coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), validating functionality, and tracking defects
• Assist with release planning, feature rollouts, and post-launch validation for digital products
• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders across business and technology teams

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a Product Owner, Product Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role supporting digital products
• Hands-on experience delivering or supporting web-based platforms or client-facing digital experiences
• Familiarity with agile delivery methodologies and working closely with engineering teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience in asset management, financial services, or another regulated environment preferred
