z/OS Storage SME

We are seeking a Mainframe Storage SME to join our team. You will provide implementation and support for our clients' steady-state operations as well as execute mainframe storage-related projects such as new storage implementation, migrations, etc. Services to be provided primarily from your remote location with occasional travel in special instances.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day support for customer mainframe storage environments
• Provision new storage volumes as required
• Maintain storage-related systems software (DFSMS, CA tools, etc.)
• Address storage performance and space issues
• Analyze, diagnose and resolve storage-related issues

Qualifications:

• Expertise with IBM, EMC, HDS storage environments in a z/OS operating system
• Expertise with IBM and ISV storage management software products
• Expertise with data migration and data replication methods and products
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Deadline and detail-oriented

 
Onboarding Requirements: Must be able to pass 7 year criminal backgroud check   

Rate Information: Rate DOE but will generally fall within a range of $60-70 per hour on 1099 for standard and overtime hours.  You will be working with other GTSG team members on this engagement.
