Key Responsibilities

• Financial Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze and interpret IT financial data across Azure and VITA environments, focusing on consumption, billing, and chargeback models. Perform variance analysis on monthly and annual IT spend to identify anomalies and opportunities for savings.

• Data Visualization & Reporting: Develop and maintain complex Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize cost trends, server migration impacts, and workload optimization opportunities. Document all processes and procedures related to financial reporting and analysis.

• Data Management: Manually maintain, manipulate, and enhance datasets from diverse, heterogeneous sources including Apptio, the Azure Portal, and SharePoint to ensure absolute accuracy and completeness.

• Cloud Strategy & Migration: Support Azure migration planning by modeling server cost scenarios and forecasting reserve capacity needs. Contribute to broader FinOps strategy development by providing actionable insights on cost drivers and utilization patterns.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the technical cloud team, Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) team, and finance stakeholders to ensure cost models align accurately with operational realities.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced level of proficiency in Power BI (including Power Query and DAX) and Excel (advanced). Strong grasp of data visualization best practices.

• Data Modeling: Proven data modeling and data manipulation skills necessary to maintain and integrate datasets from multiple heterogeneous sources.

• Cloud & Financial Tools: High familiarity with Azure cost management, Apptio, and complex cloud billing structures.

• Technical Acumen: Solid understanding of server migration strategies and workload cost modeling, with the ability to translate highly technical data into clear, actionable insights for technical teams and management.
