We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support education focused data and reporting initiatives. This role focuses on analyzing complex datasets, building dashboards and low-code tools, and translating data into actionable insights that help school systems set goals, track progress, and improve outcomes. The position is fully remote within the United States and works Central Time business hours.

Job Responsibilities
- Analyze school system and program data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities, translating findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations.
- Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that present data in a clear, user-friendly format for non-technical stakeholders.
- Develop and support low-code tools and platforms (e.g., Power Platform or similar) to display data and collect structured inputs related to progress and outcomes.
- Build automated data collection and tracking solutions (e.g., forms, surveys, applications, or scorecards) that reduce manual effort and improve data consistency.
- Analyze statutory, compliance, and program data across multiple federal and state plans to identify overlaps, redundancies, and alignment opportunities.
- Create scoring tools, trackers, and Excel-based models to support application review, performance monitoring, and outcome measurement over time.
- Collaborate with program staff and stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into effective analytical and reporting solutions.
- Communicate complex data findings through clear narratives, visualizations, and summaries tailored to diverse, non-technical audiences.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and documentation across reports, dashboards, and tools.
- Manage work independently in a remote environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work in alignment with project priorities.
qualifications:
Qualifications
8+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and data storytelling.
Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis, modeling, scorecards, and tracking.
Experience creating dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI.
Experience building or supporting low-code platforms or tools (e.g., Power Platform or similar).
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
Experience working with multiple datasets to identify trends, gaps, overlaps, and opportunities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and manage priorities effectively.
