Job description
We're looking for a Strategic Partnership Manager to expand and manage payment channel partnerships for Ant International in the US region. The person will lead to develop relationships with local, regional and global payment channels, including card networks, acquirers, payment gateways, alternative payment methods (APMs), banks and other companies in the payment and fintech space.
Responsibilities
- Lead Strategic Partnership Development and Strategic Partnership Management with payment channels.
- Source, negotiate and close new strategic partnerships
- Cultivate highly effective and deep relationships with key partners with a focus on strategic growth opportunities.
- Provide actionable insight to shape product and partnerships, and drive impactful collaboration with cross-functional teams in product, engineering, marketing, and operations to develop and execute business strategy.
- Lead commercial and contract negotiations, aligning with legal, finance, risk and other internal stakeholders throughout.
- Become subject matter expert on the US payment ecosystem, following emerging trends, and new market entrants. Leverage knowledge to propose and drive creation of a competitive product set to help BDs sell in Ant's services to customers.
- Strong recognition of Ant vision on financial inclusion
Job Requirement
- More than 7 years of working experience, at least 4 years in a financial institution, payment company, digital wallet or payment fintech.
- Work experience in a payment company, such as a merchant acquirer, e-commerce platform or card scheme is preferred.
- Experience with commercial analysis, and contract negotiations.
- In depth understand of local regulations and compliance regarding payment business, card scheme rules, and x-border of funds movement a plus.
- Native or fluency in English required. Mandarin fluency a plus.
- Able to work under pressure, rapid respond to change, self-starter and ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, with a comfort with ambiguity.
- Frequent travel both domestically and internationally.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $150,000-240,000. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Ant International and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and relevant education or training.
