We have an immediate need with one of our esteemed state clients for a Senior Help Desk Specialist. This position is on-site in Baltimore Maryland. Local candidates only.
The Senior Help Desk Specialist will:
- Provide IT software, hardware installation, maintenance, and support services.
- Resolve software installation issues on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
- Support end users both onsite and remotely.
- Provide telephone and online troubleshooting.
- Perform hardware configuration management, testing, upgrades, troubleshooting, and end-user support.
- Use ticketing systems such as JIRA, ServiceNow, or equivalent to track and resolve issues.
- Provide desk-side support including troubleshooting and replacing equipment.
- Apply diagnostic techniques, investigate problems, and recommend solutions.
- Maintain clear documentation of tickets and resolutions.
- Assist with inventory management of IT assets.
- Collect and report statistics on system issues, maintenance calls, and incidents.
- Provide daily and weekly status reports.
- Adhere to security, change control, and PMO processes.
- Work overtime, weekends, holidays, or off-hours as needed.
