Job Title: Senior Google Cloud Platform Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Google Cloud Platform Architect with 12+ years of IT experience and deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). The ideal candidate will lead cloud architecture, design scalable and secure solutions, and drive enterprise cloud transformation initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on technical skills, and the ability to align cloud strategies with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Define cloud architecture frameworks, standards, and governance policies.
• Drive cloud migration strategies from on-premise and legacy systems to Google Cloud Platform.
• Architect cloud-native applications using microservices, containers, and serverless technologies.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor cloud engineers and DevOps teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust solutions.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ensure cloud security, compliance, and cost optimization strategies are followed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
• Evaluate new Google Cloud Platform services and recommend improvements to existing architecture.

Required Skills & Expertise:

Google Cloud Platform & Cloud Technologies:

• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as:
  • Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions
  • Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
  • BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL
  • VPC, IAM, Cloud Load Balancing
• Expertise in designing cloud-native and distributed systems

DevOps & Automation:

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions)
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager)
• Configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)

Containers & Microservices:

• Strong experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Designing and implementing microservices architecture

Programming & Scripting:

• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Shell scripting

Security & Networking:

• Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, encryption, and networking
• Experience implementing security best practices and compliance standards

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
• Master’s degree is a plus

Certifications (Preferred):

• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
• Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
• Additional certifications (AWS/Azure) are a plusSoft Skills:
