Job description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join the Platform Support Team, with deep expertise in Magento and a strong foundation in modern PHP frameworks. This role is ideal for a engineer who enjoys architecting scalable eCommerce solutions, leading complex integrations, mentoring developers, troubleshooting and working across a diverse PHP ecosystem. You will play a key role in developing, optimizing, and supporting high-performance applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions aligned with business objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on development experience with Magento / Adobe Commerce
- Expert-level understanding of PHP and modern PHP frameworks such as Symfony and/or Laravel
- Has experience integrating and supporting RESTful APIs and SOAP services
- Hands-on experience integrating third-party systems (CRM, ERP, payment gateways, etc.)
- Strong understanding of Magento architecture, modules, dependency injection, and customization best practices
- Proficiency working with JSON and XML data structures
- Ability to troubleshoot complex application, integration, and business logic issues
- Strong experience with MySQL / MariaDB database design and query optimization
- Experience working in scalable cloud-based or distributed environments
- Ability to work across multiple PHP-based platforms and services as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Drupal or Joomla
- Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) platforms such as Pimcore
- Frontend experience with Vue.js (preferred) or React
- Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
- Experience with Magento performance optimization and caching strategies
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch, Redis, Varnish, and RabbitMQ
- Experience supporting high-traffic eCommerce environments
Familiarity with:
- Composer (dependency management)
- Docker and containerized/virtualized environments
- Cloud platforms such as AWS (Lambda, ECS, S3) and/or Azure
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Git workflows and release management processes
- Agile/Scrum development methodologies

- Experience working in enterprise or large-scale eCommerce environments preferred
