Certification Test Script Designer & Release Project Manager
Location: Riverwoods, IL (Onsite 2500 Lake Cook Rd)
Duration: March 2, 2026 March 1, 2027 (~12 months)
Overview
We are seeking a Certification Test Script Designer & Release Project Manager to support participant onboarding and ongoing system certification testing across global payment networks.
This role will focus on defining testing requirements, designing and validating certification scripts, and leading release initiatives that support network participants. The position operates within Payments Operations and collaborates with global teams across APAC and EMEA.
Key Responsibilities
Define system testing requirements in collaboration with product and functionality owners
Design, validate, and publish certification test scripts for network participants
Support test automation design within proprietary response simulator tools
Lead and contribute to release initiatives and certification-related projects
Create participant-facing certification documentation
Train certification support staff
Troubleshoot API and application issues during testing cycles
Coordinate with clients, account executives, technology teams, and vendors
Plan and prioritize work across multiple initiatives
Conduct peer reviews of documentation and test artifacts
Testing & Domain Focus
Core payment network systems:
Authorizations
Interchange
EMV
Product and functionality testing supporting network participation
API validation and troubleshooting
Required Skills & Experience
Experience designing certification or system test scripts
Advanced MS Excel skills
Advanced technical writing and documentation skills
Technical requirements design and implementation experience
Test automation exposure
API testing and troubleshooting experience
Experience using Jira for project management (1+ year)
SharePoint design and administration experience
Strong collaboration and cross-functional coordination skills
Ideal Candidate Profile
Background in payments, card networks, or financial services
Experience supporting certification, onboarding, or system validation efforts
Strong project management capabilities with the ability to lead releases
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and review skills
Comfortable working in global, cross-regional environments
